A funeral home serves a community by being sensitive to each family's individual needs. We are family owned and operated with a long history of providing the kind, personal care desired with funeral assistance.
Our Lyndhurst firm has been serving the community since 1950 when it was established as the Ippolito Funeral Home by Waldo J. Ippolito. It was purchased in 1975 by it's present owner, Louis J. Stellato and renamed Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home.
Over the years we have expanded our facilities to meet the needs of the community. A branch firm was established in Fairfield NJ in 1988. Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Homes was incorporated in 1992 with Louis J. Stellato appointed as President.
At Ippolito-Stellato, we have created an atmosphere designed to be comforting. Included in our many features are the following:

- We are located in the Meadowlands area which offers close proximity to all major highways, mass transit and a wide selection of lodging accommodations.
We know the pain of losing someone you love. Overcoming grief can be easier with support. Stellato Funeral Homes serve families of all ethnic backgrounds. We offer pre-need and after-care counseling as well as holiday grief counseling and seminars.
We want to relieve your family of as many burdens as we can. Legal issues, proper attention to newspaper announcements, transportation for family and friends, ceremony coordination are examples of our doing all we can.
